What's the attribution window?+
Last-touch, 60 days. If a visitor clicks your link and signs up within 60 days, you get credit. If they later click someone else's affiliate link before signing up, that affiliate wins instead.
When am I paid?+
Once a commission clears the 30-day refund window AND your total balance is at least $50, the next monthly payout cycle pays it out via Stripe Connect or manual transfer (your choice during onboarding).
Can I refer my own business?+
No. Self-referrals are blocked at signup (same email, same IP, same business owner). Detected fraud triggers an audit; commissions are clawed back.
What about the customer referral program?+
That's a separate program for existing BizFinder.ai customers — they earn 1 month of Pro free, paid as a subscription credit. The affiliate program pays cash. A single signup can only be attributed to ONE side (last-touch wins).
FTC disclosure requirements?+
You must clearly disclose the affiliate relationship on any promotional content (e.g. #ad, "affiliate link", "I earn a commission"). It's our requirement and the FTC's. Non-disclosure is grounds for removal.
What if a customer refunds?+
Commissions sit in PENDING for 30 days before becoming AVAILABLE. A refund within that window claws back the commission cleanly. Refunds after payout are rare; we reconcile any manually.
Do you provide creative assets?+
Yes — once you're approved, the affiliate dashboard has banners (728x90, 300x250, 160x600), the BizFinder logo lockups, plus copy-paste-ready email, X/Twitter, and LinkedIn templates you can use as-is or remix.
